We believe we are the only carbon neutral web services company in Norfolk. This is not a sales gimmick. We passionately believe our efforts help the environment.

Office environment

Bluefusion is located in a purpose built office. The structure is made of wood specifically source from sustainable forests. Minimal concrete was used in the construction. Where possible all office fittings, fixtures, lighting and furniture where selected for their environmental friendly materials. The construction utilises the latest developments in environmentally friendly insulation materials ensuring the building keeps cool in summer and warm in winter. The electrical supply is split into two circuits whereby non-essential electrical items can be centrally switched off when not in use.

At all times we strive to minimise our carbon foot print and off-set the carbon produced in projects that assist helping third world countries in reducing their emissions and minimising their environmental impact.

At all times we will endeavour to...

• conserve energy. Using energy saving lights, turning PC's, monitors and printers off when not in use.
• minimise water consumption. Using short flush toilets and re-using gray water where possible.
• ensure our business stationary is printed on recycled paper or source from sustainable forests.
• e-mail documents and invoices where possible rather than use paper.
• ensure waste generated is recycled in the appropriate manner.
• use public transport, and the team car shares where possible.
• use plants in the office to combat and remove pollutants from the atmosphere.
• use cleaning materials that are eco friendly.
• purchase coffee, drinks and food from fair-trade and / or organic sources.
• purchase energy from companies that source or invest in alternative or renewable energy.
• turn down the heating and wear a jumper in winter when cold.
• open a window in summer when hot and not rely on potentially energy hungry air conditioning.
